A Day of Monet in a Week

Monet June 20th, 2005
Monday
Today is Monday, and I woke up at 7:30 am. I got out of my untidy bed and changed my clothes for school, but not uniform. I woke my sister up and went down for breakfast. I ate two egg sandwiches and a glass of milk. They were delicious. After I ate my breakfast, I rushed upstairs to brush my teeth and my hair. When I finished brushing them, I rushed down. I put my school stuff that were rolling around my bag inside it. (I put my pencil case, my pouch, and a folder). I got my green cardigan and went out of my house. I rode my bicycle unusually. I rode it fast to school and got to the class room at 8:44 am.

The first period was Japanese. We checked our homeworks and listened to a poem called "Fuukei". Everybody laughed, because of the sub -title and the main thing the auther wrote.

The second period was Math. We did our math worksheets. It was quite only that, so it was kind of boring. The worksheet is about equations, and our teacher is Miss Kimura.

After math was recess. I talked of fun things and was looking at our photo stickers with my friend, Remina in our classroom. While we were inside, we weren' t lively and were kind of sleepy.

The third period was playground time. I like playground time. In this period, we could play what ever sports we like to do. I played frisby and soccer with Mao and Remina. I didn't kick a soccer ball for a long time. Also, a little bit of volleyball(alone). It was hot outside on the playground, but we had a big fun.

Next, the fourth period was computer. I don't like computer time, even if I like to use computers. In the computer time, Remina and I were writing our informations for the radio show, which we are going to make. Our topic is " Cats of the World". We have to really work on them, or else we won't finish our program.

Now, we have lunch time. Today's lunch was French toast with chicken nuggets, kiwi, and clam chowder. They were delicious.I drank water. For lunch recess, we stayed in the cafeteria.

The fifth and sixth period was reading and english time. We talked about elaboration and read out our homeworks. We filed those papers and some score sheets in our folders. Mister Lara read out Sakura and Kenta's works. Mister Lara is our teacher for Language Arts. Sakura and Kenta are two students from my class for language art time.

After all the classes, we have home room again. I put my things in my bag and got ready to go home. I left at 2:34pm. School's finished for the day. I went out of the school with my sister and got our bicycles. We waited for our father to come and when he came, we rode our bicylces which were heavy with our school supplies.

We went straight to Ogikubo station and rode on the subway to Shinjuku Sanchoume. We were going to meet our grandfather(our father's father). First, I went to a book shop called Kinokuniya with my father and my sister only. After that, we met our grandfather in front of studio Alta. We walked to Isetan ( the name of a department store) and went into a restraunt after getting kind of lost in Nakamuraya for the subway.We ordered the foods and drinks to the waiter. I ate an omlet containing fried rice. I drank some cool water. After them, I ate shaved ice with some toppings, and these were delicious also. We were totally full! I had fun being with my grandfather.

Today was a busy day, and I am very tired right now. However, it was a very fun day.

Monet June 21th, 2005
Tuesday
Today, I woke up at 7:30am and got up slowly from my bed. I changed my clothes before I woke my sister up and went down before she woke up. If she doesn't come down, my father or I will go up and call her again. I ate breakfast, and they were egg, ham, and mugi tea. They were good. I went upstairs like yesterday and brushed my teeth and hair. I rode on the bicycle again. I rode it slower than yesterday, but still quite fast.

I got to school and walked fast to my classroom. I put my bag next to my desk and sat down while I waited for the first class to begin. It's always quite boring in the morning for me.

The first, third, and fifth class was Reading and English time. We had another discussion for elaboration, did a LGL test, and had a spelling test. We did things we kind of usually do other than these.

The second period was math. We did the worksheets from yesterday again. I made mistakes, and I still forget where I have to make a number minus or plus. It sometime seems to be interesting.

Next came recess. I stayed inside with my friends. I talked with my friends.

The fourth period was Japanese. We listened to a CD of a story called "Chameleon" and we laughed again, but it was quieter than yesterday. We checked our worksheets like we did yesterday.

After that, we had lunch. We ate gratin and drank clam chowder and water. I went to blue mat because we felt even bored inside, but it was hot outside so we went back to our class room and chatted.

The last period was art time. It's kind of my favorite subject. Everybody made houses, actually, we started to build our trial house using card boards. It's fun to build them.
School ended at the usual time(same as yesterday). I went to Family Mart, a convenience store with my sister and my tutor. When I went back home, I ate my dinner. I ate curry and soup. After dinner, I did my homeworks.

I had a little party for Teiko( a person from my mother's office) because it was her birthday today. I gave a round paper fan with Totoro and his friends' pictures. My sister gave her an Ochaken mascot (with a round fan) key chain. Ochaken is a character which is all placed in each different kinds of tea, and they are dogs. I also prepared drinks, snacks, and decorations. I put normal soda in each glass with colorful and cute shaped Haribo small gummies. I brought cinnamon grahams, animal biscuits, and chewing candies. I had fun!

Monet June 22nd, 2005
Wednesday
Today, I woke up at 7:35am andgot up to change my clothe in the slightly dark bedroom. I woke up my sister and went down stairs to eat my breakfast. I went up to do the same thing as yesterday. I went out of my house and ran into the humid air.

I got to school and went to the first class, which was Computer time. I did the continuation of the project that I've been working on. I made a mistake on what to do, so my partner and I were very surprised and kind of depressed, because it was when the class was going to end.

Next was Math class. We did the same work sheets again. We were in the cafeteria for this time, because the class we usually use was used by another class. I did three questions on the board. I still make mistakes.

After math was recess time. I stayed inside and changed some photo stickers with my friend, Remina. It is fun to change and look at photo stickers.Recess past very fast.

The third class was Science. We worked on our science worksheets, which is quite fun to work on sometimes.

The fourth class was Art time. I like art time. I continued to biuld my miniature house. I cut many card boards, so my hand and probably, the cutter got tired. When I was cutting, I saw Remina's cutter rolling on the desk with the sharp part was peeking out of the plastic container, so I tried to pulled the sharp part in, but I wasn't able to manage to pull it back in. It was stuck, and I don't know what happend to it.

This time, 12:15pm is Lunch time. The lunch was Japanese radish boiled with minced chicken, spinach, rice, and mugi tea. I stayed in my classroom and relaxed.The last two periods were Reading and English. We did normal things.
School ended and I headed home with my sister and Teiko. I got home and rested inside of my house. I went to the convenience store again and bought an icecream and a magazine. After some minutes, my friend Soe and Sayaka came to my house. I went outside with my sister. I went out with my icecream, so Soe took it and tried to eat it. I was very surprised, but I got it back from him after it craked because I tried to get it back. While I walked, Soe throwed his ball to my head so many times, and he always does that!! My sister Marisa laughed, but still,tried to stop him. I dashed into my house and escaped from the ball. He couldn't through it in someboy else's home! Marisa, Sayaka, Soe , and I kind of chatted and ran aroun. After that, Yuichiro and his mother came(Sayaka, soe, Yuichiro, and his mother are my neighbors). I had fun with my friends. Yuichiro is a small boy, and he's so cute, but he's going to move to another place because of his father's business. We stayed together until around 7:00pm. I was very tired after they went home. I did my homework, took a bath, changed my clothe, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep. I was tired so I felt peaceful in my bed.

Monet June 23rd, 2005
Thursday
Today, I woke up at 7:30am and changed my clothe.I ate my breakfast and walked to school.
The first class was Japanese. I did a kanji test rehearsal, but I forgot about it so I didn't bring the answer sheets home. I had to study in the homeroom. I made about two or three mistakes. I was glad that it was arehearsal.
Next was math, and I did the usual worksheet. I kind of feel that I7m getting better at this.
After that was recess time. I was in my class room and I didn't reaolly do anything.
The third and fifth period was reading and english time. For the third period, my LA teacher Mr.Lara was not sure of watching a movie or not, and much of the time wasn't lessons. For the fifth and fourth period, we watched a movie about a loser horse and a loser man. I don't remember the title of it. We saw it in the cafeteria without chairs, so my legs got kind of tired.
I had lunch and i went to my classroom for lunch recess. I stayed there and chatted with my friends.
The last period was Music time, and I like this class. I like to play the good silver bells. It's kind of hard, but it's better than being bored! I had fun playing the music.
I went home after homeroom with my sister and Teiko as usually. I stayed in my house and drawed some pictures before I went out and played. Marisa went out before me and was playing with Rio, a boy neighbor. They came into my house and stayed inside and cooled down, because they ran around. After a while, Sayaka and Soe came to my house and everybody stayed inside. We played and talked. i went out to buy some drinks for them with my sister and came home with some changes and 5 bottles. After we came home, we talked so much, so we didn't hear the 6:00pm bell ring, so the three of them went home after 6:00pm, but nt too late.
I ate my dinner, relaxed, did my homework, had a bathe, changed my clothe, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep at last. it was a long day.

Monet June 24th, 2005
Friday
Today, I woke up at the usual time, 7:soam, and changed my clothe before breakfast. I brushed my teeth and headed to school.
I got to school, and I had Japanes time in the first period. Today ws the library day, so we went to the Japanese books' library. I extended the book I had(Princess Diana), and borrowed another book about Nightingale. Both books are fun.
Next, I had Math time. Every Friday in Summer School for Math, we have fun activities to do. Today, we tried on a design which is a sequencing design which has same designs in same patterns. It was more fun than i thought.
I had recess before playground time. I played volleyball and jump rope. It was very hot out side so I was very sweaty and thirsty. I drank a bottle of sport drink called Active Diet. It tastes good especially when the drink is still cool and when yourself is feeling hot. i had fun in the burning playground.
Next was music, and we did hand bells again. I got a little bit better than yesturday, but I still make quite much mistakes.
Now, we had lunch time. I ate my lunch very normally, and went up to my classroom as usually.
The fifth period was English. We went over Joji's(a student of the LA class) work, which was his blog, and took all the time for it. After this class was Science, but we forgot about that, so we had English time for about 80 minutes or so.
When we went to the Science room, Mister Bond( the Sciece teacher) looked disappointed at us. I had only about five minutes of that class.
I went to the Ogikubo Station by bus with Marisa, Teiko(an adult), and Remina. First, we went into Mcdonalds and ate some snacks, before we went to the game center. In the game center, we took some photo stickers. I had fun, and I'm sure everybody did. Marisa got a big size Gonta stuffed doll( a cute character from a TV show).
I went home and went outside to look for some friends, and came back home very soon, because I didn't meet anybody.
I ate my dinner and did the same kinds of things as yesterday. I went to a deep sleep. I was tired

Monet June 25th, 2005
Saturday
Today, I woke up late, which was about 8:30am. I was quite tired of sleeping, so I woke up and changed my clothes. I took a hot bath and refreshed before I ate my breakfast. I brushed my hair and teeth.I got my baggage ready to go out, and I relaxed after that.
I went to the Ogikubo Station with Marisa and my father by bicycles. We left our bicycles at my father's studio and rode on a train to Shinjuku. I had to look for a present for my friend. First, I went into a building which had clothe shops, Oshmans, and some others. I didn't find anything good, so we didn't buy anything. Next, we went to takashimaya, a department store, and ate lunch before looking for the presents. We ate soba. It was cool, moist and delicious. i didn't find anything good for the present, but I bought good pens and sharp pencils.
My mother wanted us to come to Crayon house, a restraunt in Omotesando, so we went there after we went to Kiddy Land. most of the floors were closed, but we found something ood, so we bought it. it is a ball that changes it's shape when it flies in the air. It changes from a frisby to a ball. I went to the restraunt and atedinner. I ate a brown rice risotto with a glass of ice tea. I was too full.
I got home and relaxed while I waited for the bath tub to be full with hot water. i took a refreshing bathe again, and went to sleep after I finished everything I had to finish.

Monet June 26th, 2005
Sunday
Today, I woke up slower than yesterday, which was about 9:00am. I changed my clothe and ate my breakfast. I got ready to go out, and relaxed.
I went to Kichijoji by bus, and went to a pet store, a jeans store, and a crepe shop first. There were small cute puppies with fluffy fur. there were many T-shirts at the jeans shop, and i ate a hot melting chocolate with my father and Marisa. Afer some walk, we ate lunch at a tonnkatu restraunt. they were delicious1
After that, we went to Parco, a department store and found another ood present. It is Stitch(a character from Disney, Lilo and Stitch)'s alarm clock.
We went back to Ogikubo station and Marisa and I went to Seiyu for shopping, and our father went to his studio to rest, because he didn't feel so good. We went to a book store, a stationary store, and 100 yen shop. I found good things. The most expensive one was a game casset for Nintendo DS. the title of it was Nintendogs. Marisa bought one also. I felt happy, but kind of worried, because I bought something expensive in a normal day.
We went back to our father's studio and stayed there for some minutes and went home by our bicycles. I was tired when I got home, and my father was too, but he made us a delicious cold chinese noodle. I did my homeworks and finished things I had to finish. I went to sleep.

Monet June 27th, 2005
Monday
Today, I woke up at about 8:00am, and I went down stairs and ate my breakfast. I went up and brushed my hair and teeth. I put my school supplies hurryingly and jumped out of my house to the humid, hot, and heavy air. It is very hot these days. It's about 30 degrees to 35 degrees. I rode on my bicycle to school. When I came next to the bamboo bush, I saw three boys in front of me, and they were Kenta, Youn suk, and Joji. They are the students who are in the same class as me. I passed next of them, and parked my bicycle at the flower shop.
When I got to the classroom, they were already in the classroom, and they looked very tired of running. The first class was Japanese time. We checked our worksheets.
The next class was Math time. We continued with the worksheet and did things we usually do. They weren7t any change.
Now it was recess time. I went to the computer room and tried to finish my homework, but I couldn't. I did that in the boring classroom for twenty minutes.
The third period was my favorite class, Playground time. I played volley ball and jump rope. It was very hot, actually too hot in the rubber made lime green and ruby red play ground. I like to play, but I will become sweaty and feel hot so that my cheeks are ging to be pink.
Next was computer class. I didn't have a good time at all. I had to finish my script for our project with Remina, so Mister Thompson, our Computer class teacher told us not to go eat lunch until we finish our script. We didn't finish it, so we didn't eat our lunch for today.
The last two periods were Reading and English. We discussed about a book called Outsiders and wrote some details down on a peice of paper/
School finished and I felt free. I got my bicycle and waited for Marisa and Teiko to come in front of the school. They came after some few minutes, and we went home. When I got home, I felt like I was in another world, because it was so cool in my house that I was quite surprised. I rested and did the game I bought on Saturday. The game is so fun and the dogs are so cute!
I ate my dinner and did my homework after that. I had a took a bathe and went to sleep after I did some things I do daily.

Monet June 28th, 2005
Tuesday
Today I woke up at 7:30am. I did the usual things, and went to school. I rode on my wine red bicycle and hurried to school. There was nothing interesting in the morning today.
The first, third, and the fifth period was Reading and English. We did Let's Go Learn( a computer tutorial system) and a discussion of the book Outsiders's chapter 2.
The second period was Math time, but we didn't actually do any work today. We talked about where we are going for the Summer Vacation, what pet we have, and about foods. I had fun talking and listening.
I had recess, and I went to Mister Bond's Science Lab, because Remina had to ask something to him. Other than that, I walked around looking for my friends.
The fourth period was Japanese time. We discussed and corrected a worksheet for Cameleon, and we also worked on two questions which Miss Sato, our Japanese teacher made.
For Lunch, I ate kimchi pork and drank a glass of mugi tea. I sat with my friends and Miss Sato. I don't know why that happened, but it was interesting because I never sat with a teacher for lunch before.
The last period was Art time, and we continued to make our miniature houses. I forget about time and time passes fast when I am building a house.
School ended, and I was so happy. I went home by my bicycle and went home with Marisa only. I got home, and held a memorial service for our goldfish, Ran. I did my game and wrote a letter for the present after that.
At about 3:53pm, Soe came to our house and we played with games, read some magazines, and kind of chatted. After a few minutes, Marisa and I gave him his birthday present. We went outside and called Yuichiro to play with us. For the first few minutes, we played with some balls and frisbies, but after that, we played with water. Everybody splashed water to each other using a water gun and two hoses. We all got really wet, so I felt my body get heavy. I ran around to get away, but it was fun to get hit by water on a hot day also.
When I was walking to a place, I saw Sarah. She was at Guam and also at her mountain's house, so I was surprised that she was back. She joined in and got soaked by cool water. I had fun, and got wet. I went home at about 6:40pm or do.
I ate my dinner and did my homework unhapilly. I got ready for tomorrow's field trip, and went to sleep. Today was a wet day.


Monet June 29th, 2005
Wednesday
Today, I woke up at 6:55am and phoned Sho. I got the message wrong from my father and Mao(my friend) so I made three students late. They were Sho, Joji, and Younsuk. I didn't realize that until I came back to my classroom after the field trip(a field trip is a trip to go somewhere with your class or some other classes). I got ready to go to the school and rode on my bicycle to school.
I got to school at about 8:20 to 25. I waited for my teacher to lead us to the bus. At about 8:40am, we went down to the bus, but we left at about 8:55am. I was still kind of sleepy and was very bored on the bus. I didn't have any fun conversation with my seat mate. She was Mao.
I forgot what time it was when I got there. We went out to the slightly dark air and I saw the navy blue ocean. Actually, it was in between that color and lime green. It wasn't a clean ocean, but still, I was impressed by the sea anyway.
We started getting ready for riding on a yacht. Some people changed, but I didn't. Next, everybody wore a life jacket. It was mustard yellow, and they had some mosses on them.
We were divided into two groups, which were boy group and a girl group. We rode on the yacht, and started to move. We saw small fish, big fish, and dead fish. The wind was kind of cool and it was raining, but it didn't really matter, because we're going to get wet anyway. We played by splashing water to the boys, so we were soaked, wet. The water wasn't clean, but I didn't really care when I was actually on the boat.
After an hour or so, we went out of the yacht and cleaned our selves with are dry towels. My clothe stinked because of the sea water. We changed our clothe.
We got into the bus and ate lunch, which were 3 sandwiches, a rice ball, a banana, and an apple juice. I tasted good after a ride on a yacht.
We rode on the boat for about one hour and a little bit more, then we got back to school. most of the students went out to the playground and played some sports, but I was inside of the classroom, because I was worried of something. I wasn't feeling good at that time, but now, I feel kind of happy.
I went home and played with my friends again. We didn't use water today, but we had fun anyway. Yuuichiro's mother and he went out to buy a cake for his birthday party, and also bought six sweet snacks for us(Marisa, Soe, and I). We ate them and played around until it was 6:00pm.
I got back to my house again and did my homeworks before I sleeped.
