A Week in Sakura's Life

Today was Saturday, so I was going to sleep more than the other school days but I woke up early today. I saw the time on the screen of my cell phone which was too bright for my sleepy eyes, and it was still 7:30 a.m. I tried to sleep again, but my pet dog Rose was snoring way too loud beside me on the bed so it made me get out of my untidy bed.
I walked to the kitchen, and sat in front of my breakfast. It was a sandwich with ham, lettuce and cheese. Beside that, there were some sliced boiled egg and a slice of melon. I was too lazy to eat, so I put the sliced eggs into the sandwich and ate them slowly. It was more delicious than I expected.
At noon, I went to an international school near my home, to have a barbecue party for the graduates there. I was invited by a parent. When I entered the school campus, I was too nervous because the students were kind of staring at me. My mother recommended to eat some meat but I couldn’t because I was too nervous and I was also kind of full because of the sandwich I ate for breakfast. So I just drank a can of orange juice. (it was kind of warm and a little bit gross.)
After this, I went to another party of my sister’s friend’s birthday party at American Club. One of the rooms was reserved for the party, and the half of that room was the dance floor. I was surprised because there was a mirror ball on the ceiling. It was like a disco. (I haven’t been to a disco but the mood was similar) I became a little hungry (well, I am always hungry) so I went to an Italian restaurant with my mother and the mother of my sister’s friend. I ordered a risotto of gorgonzola cheese and it was so delicious. I hope I can eat that risotto again.
After we finished eating, we went to pick up my sister and said good bye to everyone. My mother, my sister and I went home by the taxi. In the taxi, my sister slept so my mother had to carry her even though her back hurts a lot. Finally we arrived at home. My mother and my sister took a bath and slept, but I had to practice for my piano lesson, so I played the piano for about half an hour even though I was so tired and I was almost going to sleep in front of my piano. I finished practicing the piano and took a bath. I read some and went to sleep. It was a very busy weekend day.

Today was my favorite day of the week, Sunday! I felt happy because my life is always busy and full of things to do, so it is the only chance to be relaxed and do whatever I want. It was a very tiring day yesterday, so I woke up a little later than yesterday. Yesterday I woke up at about 7 a.m. but today, I woke up at 8:30 a.m. by the bell of my home’s door. I knew that my mother and my sister Maria left home to go to the camera studio and take the video. She is seven years old. She does modeling, and she’s sometimes on TV. This time, she is in the video for little kids, and it is in English. She speaks English too. I guess she speaks better than me.I walked to the kitchen, moaning as always and ate my breakfast. (I was too sleepy so I don’t remember what I ate because I didn’t think of it while eating.) I finished eating and played piano for a while. My hair was kind of curled up in many different directions because I forgot to comb my hair so it interrupted me a lot.After I played the piano, I got ready to work on my school homework and started it. I had to do three handouts for my algebra class, work on the activity in my Japanese class, and work on some grammar. The time passed quickly and it was noon when I finished.My mother and Maria came back from the studio and ate lunch. I don’t remember what I ate for lunch too. (I’ll try to remember from the next time) We finished eating and took a break. After the break, we went shopping near my home. I had to buy a birthday present for my classmate and her name is Clara. I found a nice bag in the store and the cost was cheaper than I expected, so I bought that for her. (For me too but different color) Next, we went to a toy store for Maria. My mother said that she did a good job today in taking the film, so she bought a toy for her that cost about \4000. (About 40 dollors) I think it’s too expensive for a reward just for taking a film. Finally, we went to a CD shop and bought some CDs. Usually I listen to R&B and Hip Hop music so I bought two CDs of my favorite genre.We went home and ate dinner. I put the songs of the CDs I bought today in my iPod and listened to it. I got ready for school and I played some music while I was getting ready. I took a bath, and chat with my friends on MSN, and finally went to bed. It was an enjoyable day.

Today I woke up at 7 a.m. and I knew that I slept way too much. So I jumped off the bed and ran straight to the kitchen. My mother yelled at me, “You should have slept earlier!” but I didn’t have time to answer her so I just kept on eating. I ate a toast with strawberry jam on it and I drank the tasteless and cold green tea. (That was gross!) After the breakfast, I brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and changed in hurry. Maybe that took about 5 minutes because I was super quick. At the door, my mother threw me the lunch box and said, “Don’t you need your lunch? And you’ve forgotten your cell phone on the table at the dining room!” So I told my sister to bring my cell phone while I was tying my shoelace.I ran to the bus stop and caught the bus. I slept in the bus today because I was so tired by running to the bus stop. I arrived at school and I left my bag at the classroom and went to the music room to practice the French horn. A French horn is a brass instrument which I play in the band. Some of my friends were already there. I finished my practice, and the siren rang so I ran back to my classroom.My first period was Japanese. I worked on the activity which I was doing, and discussed with my friends and it was over early. Next period was math, and I kind of hate math. The teacher wasn’t strict, but I got nervous. I feel worried if I don’t understand the question. I’m taking the Algebra-1 class and I did probability today. Math was over and it was recess time. I played volley ball with my friends in the hot sun. It was quite fun. After the recess, it was a free PE time so I continued playing volley ball. The next period was computer, and I worked on my individual programming assignment. After the tiring computer period, it was lunch time so I went to the cafeteria with my friends and ate my lunch together. We talk a lot about school while we eat. Today, I talked about the boyfriends and the girlfriends in my school. After lunch was reading time, but we had to catch up with the grammar work, so we worked on that. We discussed about the blog and it is based on elaboration which means adding more details. I like elaborating because I like telling people about many different things.After school, I played volley ball again with my friends and went home together by the train.When I arrived at home, I practiced the piano and relaxed for a while. Then I ate my dinner,( I don’t remember what I ate) and did my homework and took a bath. I felt really tired and when I looked at my clock, it was already about 11p.m. So I went to sleep straight hoping that I can wake up early enough tomorrow.

Today, I woke up even later than the previous days. It was 7:10 already, and I really got surprised when I saw my clock. At this moment, I realized that I forgot to set my alarm. I went to the kitchen saying “What a stupid thing to do…” to myself. I felt so angry that my mother didn’t wake me up. I bit my toast angrily and went to change my clothes.After I got ready, I ran to the bus stop again like I do everyday. Unfortunately, it was raining hard. I felt so stupid again, and stopped running. Even though, I caught the bus on time, and I tried to sleep in the bus but the other little kinds were so loud and I couldn’t sleep. I increased the volume of my iPod, but I still could hear the kids shouting and making some noise.I arrived at school, and I went straight to my homeroom today. I was too tired to practice for the band so when I went inside the classroom, I walked to my desk, hang my bad beside my desk, and slept. I woke up about 20 minutes later because one of my friends was bothering me. I moaned, and started getting ready for the first class which was Japanese. The bell rang, and I went to Japanese class. I was kind of awake because Japanese class was so fun. I enjoyed the class, and I got ready for math. When my math teacher came inside the classroom, I started yawning again and again and again. I was lucky that the teacher didn’t see me yawning so many times.I played volley ball outside as always, and the ground was slippery so I slipped twice in recess time. It was so embarrassing. After recess, I had reading class which was kind of good because the book we are reading as a class “The Outsiders” was fun. I was kind of sleepy, but I listened to my teacher talk as best as I can, and the reading class was over. I had science next reading class, and it is the most boring class I guess. We never do labs in summer school and the teacher just gave us some handouts to work on, and we have a test about the handouts at the end of summer school. I was too lazy and too sleepy to work, but I finished 2 handouts today. After science, I ate my lunch and played volley ball again. The ground was becoming dry. So I didn’t slip this time.After, I had English class and we worked on elaboration and sensory words. I got some homework to finish and hurried to the music room. My favorite class was music, and I love it! We are playing the hand bells as a class and we started a new song called “The Music Box Dancer” the tempo was quite fast, and difficult. Finally, the school was over, and I went straight home today because I had to have piano lesson.I arrived at home, feeling so tired, and practiced the piano for a while and the teacher came. I didn’t practice much, so I was so nervous. I thought that I should have practiced more. The lesson was over, and I worked on my homework. I ate dinner after doing my homework and watched my favorite TV drama and it is about volley ball. I had so much fun watching that. I took a bath after watching the TV and went to sleep. I promised to myself to wake up earlier tomorrow.

Today, I woke up too early. I woke up at 6 o’clock but I thought that it’s better that waking up too late. I woke up because of my dog Rose again. I was a little bit irritated because most of the time, she wakes me up.
My mother wasn’t awake yet. I was the first one to get up, and I walked noisily to make others wake up. I tried to find something to eat and I opened the refrigerator. About 10 minutes later, my mother woke up and I ate a butter toast with some green tea. I drink green tea every day because it has a lot of caffeine in it and it helps me wake up. I finished eating breakfast and started getting ready to go.
I went to the bus stop 5 minutes earlier than yesterday. I stood in the hot sun for about 7 minutes and became sleepy again. So I slept in the bus as usual.
I arrived at school, and went to homeroom immediately. I wanted to play the playing card with my friends so soon as I get there, I grabbed my card out of my messy bag and started shuffling.
I played the game called speed for 10 minutes and went to the first class. It was Japanese, and we worked on the activity as always. Next one was math, and it was kind of boring. Everyday in math class, I get so sleepy and I can’t stop yawning. The thing is, I kind of get how to solve the questions, but I don’t understand what my teacher is saying. Also, I try to copy what he wrote on the board but I can’t read, and he erases so fast. It is more difficult to understand him more than to understand the questions.
I had recess right after math, and I practiced the volley ball serve with my friends. I was wearing a black T-shirt so I started sweating so fast. After recess, I had free playground time for 45 minutes and I was sat for a while and practiced serving. I had my favorite subject, Music next and we practiced a new song by the hand bells. I did the most difficult part and I almost dropped a bell because I had to change my bell so quickly. Even though it was fun! I hope I can do it better next time.
I ate my lunch as fast as I can after Music and practiced serving again. My stomach was aching because I started practicing soon after I finished eating.
I had an English class next and we discussed about elaboration and sensory words. One of my friends wrote a blog about him and the discussion of blog using elaboration soon changed into his love story. It was so interesting hearing about him and a girl, and when we looked at the clock, it was almost half past the next period which was Science! We ran to the Science class and worked about 10 minutes. Finally our classes were done.
After school, we had a volley ball practice for about three and a half an hour. It was still so hot outside and it was so bright to look up to bump the ball. (We don’t have a gym) For today’s practice, there were two guests. One of the guests was a parent of my friend. She was the ace of her volley ball team, so she came to teach us how to get better. Another guest was a girl who graduated here before and she was the captain of our team. So the practice was harder than the usual practice and I learned a lot from the guests. I got better in setting the ball up and we also did the switching which was so complicated. I made mistakes many times and the coach seemed to be angry.
Finally the hardest practice ever was over and I went home with my friends. I hurried up because there was a volleyball game on the TV. It was Japan verses Poland. I watched the game for about on hour and finally Japan won.
I was so tired so I took a shower and went to sleep straight.

Today was a very special day. I had a traditional ceremony at my family’s new house which is almost going to finish building. When the new house is build, we do a ceremony. We throw the Japanese dumplings (It is called a MOCHI), and we also throw some snacks. We even throw some tallies made of wood and it says “One bottle of wine” or “One box of beer” etc. We throw them from the roof and people at down stairs catch them. This time, we threw them from the balcony on the second floor because the roof was too high to throw, and it is kind of dangerous.
We prepared three boxes of 100 sacks of dumplings in each box, and of course, it was way too many. From the moment that I saw the boxes of it, I knew that our family will be eating them for about 2 weeks everyday. I knew that I will be bringing some of it for my lunch to school, I knew that I had to eat some at morning, and even at night. I realized that there will be a mountain of dumplings in the kitchen. So I threw them as many as I can to not let my family become the dumpling sick. We threw as much as we can and at last, I even tried to throw the whole box in desperation. Finally, 100 of the dumpling sacks were left. I felt sad that I felt like I had to eat them everyday until we finish eating everything. My sister likes it so she seemed to be happy but not me.
We went back home and ate some dumplings as lunch. It was good though. After lunch, we went shopping near our house. We borrowed some DVDs from the CD shop and went to a boutique to buy some clothes for summer. I bought one pair of jeans, one white shirt, and one sleeveless shirt.
We went back in a hurry to watch the volleyball game on the TV like yesterday. It was Japan verses Korea. In the Olympic last year, Japan lost Korea so it was kind of revenge. The game went over smoothly and finally Japan won! I was so happy and I shouted a lot like I am a crazy person. I ate some dumplings again as dinner and took a shower. Later, I opened my computer and asked my friend about the homework and went to sleep. It seems like I’m going to dream about the dumplings.

Today I woke up at 9:30, but I wasn’t sleepy. I walked to the kitchen and looked for my breakfast. I realized that my mother and Maria were away because of the ballet lesson that Maria is taking, and I also realized that my mother forgot to keep my breakfast. I wasn’t hungry, so I played the piano until they come back from the ballet lesson.
About 1 hour later, they came back and went shopping like we do always on the weekends. We went to a big department beside the station. First, we went to eat some food. We ate at Italian restaurant. I ordered a pizza and some garlic bread. I was so hungry, so I ate them quickly.
We went to the book store next and bought some books. I bought a book called “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” and it is about the place called the Narnia. I have read the other series of this book, so I bought this.
Next, we went to an accessory store and bought a birthday present for Maria’s friend. My mother bought me a bracelet with some pink stones and I love it! It is so cute and gorgeous.
After the accessory store, we went to Hargen Dazs (I don’t know the right spelling) and bought some ice creams. I bought an ice cream with flavor of rum raisin. My mother bought a strawberry ice cream, and my Maria bought a chocolate ice cream. We walked to the car park eating the ice cream. We walked slowly because we were eating the ice creams.
We went to the other department to buy some food for tonight. We bought some fried shrimps ( It is called a TENPURA in Japan) we bought some sushi too.
We hurried back to home to watch the volleyball game. The game was Japan verses Brazil. I had so much fun watching and eating the tempuras together. I cheered Japan of course, and Japan won for the first two sets of the game. From the third set, Brazil won the two sets and finally, there was a fifth set. I shouted and screamed to cheer Japan and dogs went away from me because I was too noisy. Finally, Japan lost but I think it was a good game. It was already 9 o’clock so I took a shower and did my homework and slept. I hope I can get up early tomorrow because tomorrow is the worst day of the week, Monday.

I woke up late today. Every morning I think that I should have woke up earlier. I ran to the kitchen, and my dog followed me and I said “Don’t follow me!” in an angry voice. I got a little bit irritated because she chased me and she seemed like she wanted to play with me. I could eat quickly because I was kind of irritated still, so I could also get ready to go early enough to catch the bus too.

I caught the bus and slept as usual. When I arrived at school, I went to the homeroom and I took a break for a while and I went to the first class, which was Japanese. Today, I did the presentation of the activities that I was working on. Next one was math, and I was so sleepy as always. I never understood what my teacher says, and it becomes harder and harder to solve the equations everyday.
After math, I played volleyball again, and I had free playground time about for one hour. I got sunburned too. I played volleyball with my friends as always. There was no net for volleyball but at least we could play so we had a lot of fun!
I had a computer class next and I worked on programming. My programming is kind of hard. If you press the keys, it will play the notes and even plays a short song. It is so difficult but we can have a lot of fun to figure out what the errors are and so on.
After lunch, I had Reading class next. We worked on LGL which is Let’s Go Learn. We sit in front of the computer and worked on the exercise. I did 3 lessons for today. We also did the study about the novel called “The Outsiders”. The story is about the gangs. I only finished reading the two chapters so I don7t know the story well yet but it seems interesting.
The Reading class was the last one for today, and I had the hardest volleyball practice ever today. First, today’s weather was too hot. Actually, I sweated even if I did nothing. I just stood in the middle of the playground and listened to my couch’s instruction, but I didn’t stop sweating. At last, My T-Shirt was totally wet and I was so shocked because my couch got angry at me. I made the same mistake over and over so he got angry. Maybe he didn’t get mad but it seemed like. So I decided not to make the same mistake again in the next practice.
I was so tired so I went home as fast as I can with my friends. I arrived at home about 8:30 p.m. and took a shower. After, I started working on my homework, and practiced piano for a while. Finally, I went to bed about 1 o’clock. It was a tiring day, but I enjoyed my day.

Today I woke up at just at 7 o’clock. I was so surprised so I could get out of my bed quickly. Today was a beautiful sunny day so I felt happy. My breakfast was Miso soup and a bowl of rice. I ate them watching TV and I got ready to go.
When I stepped out of my apartment, I felt so hot and I even stepped back inside the apartment lobby again. It was so hot and damp outside and it was too bright to open my eyes. I stayed inside for a moment, and I stepped out again and walked tiredly to the bus stop. I started sweating even though I was just walking. I caught the bus soon after I arrived there and went to sleep like I don everyday.
I woke up when the bus arrived at school. I went to the homeroom sleepily and slept again. I had Reading class first and I worked on LGL. It helps to increase the reading and vocabulary level. Next was math as usual, and it was boring as always. The questions were getting harder each day and I couldn’t understand the question either. Of course, I didn’t understand my teacher too. I played volleyball with my friends again, and went back to the Reading class. I worked on the novel and discussed about how we do the “retelling.” After Reading, I had Japanese. Today, there was a visitor teacher who taught us as the test if that teacher can be the teacher here. My usual teacher was sitting behind me and looked and listened how he taught us. The new teacher was kind of funny, and he was kind of old too, but I liked the way he teaches. I hope he can become the teacher here. After the lunch recess, I had English class. We discussed about doing the elaboration as always. The last period was art, and we worked on making a house by using the boxes. I finished the outer part of the house, and I worked on making the furniture by the clay. The bell rang and I took the bus and go home straight today because there was no volleyball practice today. Also, I was so tired to I decided to sleep earlier.
I arrived at home and ate some snacks while I watched MTV. After eating some snack, I practiced the piano for 1 hour and stared on my homework. The homework wasn’t much today, so I finished most of them before eating dinner. I ate dinner and watched TV about volleyball and continued working on homework. I took shower after doing my homework, and went to bed. I could sleep earlier today.
